In the wake of the detonation of the ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP) at CTU, Chloe clashes with NSA operatives over the best way to quickly reboot the network. Jack and Cole pursue the terrorists as they uncover their plan to smuggle the nuclear material into Manhattan. When Hastings denies her request to send backup to help him, Chloe calls Renee. Prady refuses to leave Dana alone, and a new traitor at CTU is revealed. | ||||

Ellen's sister is arrested, and after her boss urges her to distance herself from the case as much as possible, she turns to Patty for help. Patty, Ellen, and Tom discover that Tessa may not be as innocent as she appears. Frobisher insists that the producers of the movie based on his life meet Patty to see what she's really like. Patty is confronted by Michael and decides it's time to move forward with the remodel of her home. | ||||

Chance poses as a boxer in order to get a client out of a jam, and turns to an old enemy who swore to kill him to help finance his plan. Chance works with Guerrero and Winston to make it to the final round, but Winston becomes especially concerned about Chance's mental stability when he falters repeatedly during the fights. Chance tries to flip a woman close to the mobster threatening his client's life. | ||||

When both Haley and Luke come to their parents with projects due the following day, Claire and Phil each help one of them in their own way to ensure that their tasks are completed on time. Mitchell prepares to watch a meteor shower with his dad but is surprised to find Manny tagging along for the ride. Cameron tries to make things right with Gloria after something he said is horribly misinterpreted. | ||||

Mark interrogates Lloyd and tries to piece more of the puzzle together in order to commandeer a mission to Somalia, and is limited in his success when he learns that he won't be able to go along. In spite of Demetri's wishes, Zoe tries to unearth everything about Mosaic in order to find a way to save him. After Tracy goes missing, Aaron goes after the people he believes to be responsible with a vengeance. | ||||

As an excuse to get to know Matt better, Oscar gets the office to go out for happy hour after work. Jim tries to get out of it by using Pam as an excuse, but she craves human contact and even brings along a friend she wants to set up with Michael. Once Michael learns that it's a set-up, he introduces a horrific new personality, Date Mike. Dwight tries to ditch Angela for a taller woman while Andy and Erin consider publicizing their relationship. | ||||

Floyd returns to New York, and Liz is horrified to learn that it's because he's getting married. The writers prank Danny when they find out that he's been nominated for an award, and Danny joins forces with Jack to seek revenge. Frank proves a worthwhile opponent when he discovers that Jack was in a secret society in college. Pete orders Kenneth to keep Jenna and Tracy distracted for twelve hours. | ||||

Daniel sells his beloved team in order to keep his company afloat. Zoe tries to get out of the lab as Daniel is pressured to destroy her chip to make more Cylon copies. Amanda confronts Daniel about Vergis' accusation and continues to spiral downwards. Sister Claire makes a power play against Barnabas, and he retaliates using Lacy as a pawn, battling for leadership of the Soldiers of the One. |
