Joe calls Leonard to figure out what to do with Danielle. They decide that she should still leave the country immediately, but a visiting doctor can't condone her traveling. Patty and Tom move quickly to try to stop them from helping Danielle disappear. Ellen spends time with her family in New Jersey while Tom grapples with telling his wife's parents about what happened to their investments. | ||||

Kensi is shot by robbers while opening a safe deposit box at a bank, and the events leading up to that moment are gradually revealed. Kensi debates what to do with a box of heirlooms from her father, and the rest of the team becomes curious about its contents. The team tries to devise a way to discover who is involved in a planned heist before the robbery actually takes place. | ||||

A woman rushes to seek counsel when she finds her babysitter dead in her home, and the husband immediately becomes a prime suspect. Kalinda follows up on leads to determine suspects while Alicia arrives at the husband's workshop before the police. Peter's appeal proceeds as Childs asserts his right to question Peter on the stand and subpoenas Kalinda to testify. The Florricks prepare for the possibility of Peter coming home. | ||||

Chance is hired by a district attorney who is having trouble getting a major confidential informant to talk because someone is following her and attempting to kill them. At the start of his investigation, Chance uncovers widespread corruption in the police department and a surprising link between the D.A. and her informant. Winston calls in a favor, and Guerrero works on finding a way to disable a tracker planted on the D.A. | ||||

When Dylan shows up with a big gift for Haley, Phil and Claire decide to spice up their Valentine's Day tradition and pretend to be strangers meeting in a hotel bar. Jay takes Gloria to see a stand-up comedian instead of going salsa dancing, and isn't too pleased when the comic starts making fun of him. Cameron and Mitchell refuse to let Manny allow another boy to take credit for a love poem he wrote. | ||||

Hart assigns Dylan and Beth to the case of a female student whose university has revoked her scholarship because she may not in fact be female. Malcolm and Liam compete to impress Hart and come up with a more compelling argument for a case. Addy is tasked with interviewing Cliff about his affair. Liam struggles to figure out how to please Beth with little real help from Rowdy. | ||||

Sabre CEO Jo Bennett arrives to continue the integration of Dunder Mifflin into the corporation. She is unimpressed with Michael and Jim being co-managers and insists that one become a salesman once again. Michael initially wants to hold onto his title, but changes his mind when he discovers he can make more money as a salesman. Ryan and Dwight meet to plot Jim's demise, while Andy falters again in his romantic pursuit of Erin. | ||||

Liz vows not to subscribe to the need for companionship on Valentine's Day, and is distraught to learn that she needs someone to pick her up from her February 14th root canal. Jack tries to seduce a conservative talk show host who is unimpressed by his cheap tricks. Jenna is upset when her stalker fails to show up and bombard her with creepy affection before Valentine's Day. | ||||

Michael is left to clean up a huge mess when his old friend Larry shows up and reveals that he has been using Michael's name in his illicit operations. In the course of his efforts to set things straight, tensions flare and Michael manages to alienate not only Fiona but also Sam. Nate shows up with his new wife who he met in Vegas, and Madeline is not impressed with her at all. | ||||
