Plot Synopsis

This one-hour drama series, based on the 2012 French TV series LES REVENANTS (THE RETURNED), focuses on the small mountain town of Caldwell, Washington, that is turned upside down when several local people, who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences. As families are reunited, the lives of those who were left behind are challenged on a physical and emotional level. With no memory of their deaths, and no awareness of the time that has passed in their absence, the returned struggle to reintegrate into a world that has changed without them. THE RETURNED is executive produced by Carlton Cuse and Raelle Tucker.

On Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, A&E premiered the season finale of THE RETURNED. In the season ender, "Peter," Rowan and Tommy's celebration is overshadowed by a mysterious premonition. Julie makes Victor face his tragic past. Camille realizes she will never be normal and Helen's plan meets a mysterious end.
