PEOPLE'S CHOICE COUNTRY AWARDS is an awards program that recognizes the biggest and best country music has to offer chosen entirely by the fans across various categories. Several honorary awards are be bestowed during the ceremony.

The inaugural PEOPLE'S CHOICE COUNTRY AWARDS premiered on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 8-10pm ET/PT on NBC and Peacock, hosted by Little Big Town from the world-famous Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville. Toby Keith is being honored with the Country Icon Award, presented by Blake Shelton. Country music duo Brothers Osborne presents Grammy Award-winning singer and performer Wynonna with the Country Champion Award. Country superstars Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, HARDY, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Toby Keith and Wynonna all take the stage to perform their biggest hits. Presenters include Adam Doleac, Carly Pearce, Chris Young, Dustin Lynch, Gabby Barrett, Hunter Hayes, Jessie James Decker, Josh Ross, Kameron Marlowe, Kristin Cavallari, Lady A, Lauren Alaina, Leanne Morgan, Mickey Guyton, Nikki Garcia, Scotty McCreery and The War And Treaty.

The 2nd annual PEOPLE'S CHOICE COUNTRY AWARDS debuted on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 8-10pm ET (live)/PT (tape) on NBC and Peacock, live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Hosted by Shania Twain, PEOPLE'S CHOICE COUNTRY AWARDS honors the biggest names in country music, as chosen entirely by fans. The show will lean into the rich history and connection between country music and the Grand Ole Opry House with musical performances, collaborations, tributes to country legends, and surprise moments. Performers include Brad Paisley, mgk, Miranda Lambert, Country Champion Kane Brown, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lady A, Parker McCollum and The War And Treaty. Plus, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, Little Big Town, Nate Bargatze, Ashley Cooke, Bailey Zimmerman, Chase Rice, Cody Rhodes, Dasha, Orville Peck, Parker McCollum, Priscilla Block, Scotty McCreery, Shaboozey and Tanner Adell, wrestler Cody Rhodes, Dylan Dreyer and actor/comedian Matt Rife will present awards and performances throughout the night.
