MOST EXTREME SHARKS is a one-hour docuseries that follows Steve Backshall, a naturalist and shark expert, who gets close to sharks to encounter a family of over 400 different types. This global journey takes Steve to the remotest parts of Earth -- from the sun-drenched tropics to the mysterious depths of the oceans -- where he confronts uncomfortable truths and joins shark advocates. Teaming up with world-leading scientists, Steve makes stunning discoveries while revealing glow in the dark sharks, sharks that walk on land, and ancient sharks over 400 years old. All four episodes of MOST EXTREME SHARKS dropped on Sunday, July 2, 2023 on Disney+ and Hulu as part of 2023 SHARKFEST. MOST EXTREME SHARKS made its linear television debut with all four episodes airing back-to-back on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 8pm-Midnight ET/PT on National Geographic Channel.
