Season 2 of MARVEL'S LUKE CAGE premiered on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire 13-episode second season. After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can't save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain. In the season opener, directed by Lucy Liu, Luke adjusts to his growing fame as he tries to shut down the flow of heroin branded with his name; meanwhile, someone from his past reaches out. Then, Luke tests his abilities on the ballfield, while Misty ruffles feathers at the precinct and Mariah plans a reunion to boost her image. Annabella Sciorra joins the cast for Season 2, playing Rosalie Carbone, a dangerous downtown criminal underworld power player with an eye, and an agenda, toward Harlem.
