Plot Synopsis
HOW IT'S MADE: AMERICAN MADE is a half-hour series that explores a wide variety of products that are produced in America including 3-D printers, NASCAR engines, apple pie, barber poles, and more. The premiere episode, "Baseball Edition," puts the focus on America's Pastime, including a wrist watch that contains wood from the original 1923 Yankee Stadium. Also featured are baseball gloves, scoreboards, hot dogs, and baseball bats. Subsequent episodes feature: nostalgia (bowling balls, barber poles, miniature train cars, jukeboxes and grandfather clocks); race cars (dragsters, racing wheels, race car oil tanks, NASCAR engines, and NASCAR car bodies); music (marimba, clarinets, trumpets, banjos, and hand bells); desserts (chocolate chip cookies, whoopie pies, apple pie, toaster pastries, and cheesecake); electronics (commercial drones, 3-D printers, Tube power amplifiers, solid state drives, and flexible circuit boards); and more.
