Plot Synopsis

Fifteen years after introducing the world to the field of authentic paranormal investigation, GHOST HUNTERS returns to television to follow one of the original team leaders, Grant Wilson, and his handpicked group of professional ghost hunters as they use their decades of field experience to investigate hauntings across the country. Engaging forensic experts, historical records and the most innovative technology available, the new squad will help everyday people who are struggling with unexplained supernatural phenomena. The team is committed to discovering the truth to give relief to those plagued by paranormal activity and will follow the evidence they uncover wherever it may lead. The new crew working alongside Grant includes paranormal investigators Daryl Marston, Kristen Luman, Brandon Alvis, Mustafa Gatollari, Brian Murray and Richel Stratton. The new GHOST HUNTERS premiered on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 9pm ET/PT, immediately following a one-hour special (8pm) and an all-day marathon (7am-8pm) of encore episodes from the original series with the title GHOST HUNTERS CLASSIC.

On Wednesday, April 8, 2020 from 8-10pm ET/PT, A&E premiered the second season of GHOST HUNTERS with a two-hour season opener. In Season 2, the team heads into uncharted territory to be the first to investigate reports of paranormal phenomena in some of the nation's most remote locations. Their journey takes them to isolated, distant corners of the United States where they confront extreme conditions and desolate terrain. The team seeks out forgotten worlds where darkness and death plague residents who have been forced to live with the unknown. Despite mysterious and unnerving warnings from locals, the Ghost Hunters face their fears and stay on mission: to help people confront terrifying paranormal encounters that have shaken them to their core. In doing so, they capture their most compelling, persuasive evidence in over a decade.

On Sunday, October 31, 2021, discovery+ ends #Ghostober with "Bloodiest 47 Acres Redux," a GHOST HUNTERS Halloween special. In this 42-minute program, Amy Bruni and Adam Berry join TAPS as they revisit Missouri State Penitentiary. The team investigates whether recently unearthed "Centennial Cells" are behind the staff's disturbing encounters with doppelgangers, shadow figures and elf-like creatures.
