Plot Synopsis

Zoe Francois teaches viewers how to achieve beautiful and delicious desserts from home, while breaking down the secrets of talented pasty chefs and home bakers alike. On Friday, February 5, 2021 discovery+ released a sneak-peek episode of ZOE BAKES. In this preview episode, "Porch Party Pies," it's spring in Minnesota and Zoe marks the occasion with a freshly baked Strawberry Rhubarb pie served up to friends and family on her porch. She's also making a simple fruit fool inspired by a visit to one of her favorite local restaurants. Two months later -- on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 12:30pm ET/PT -- Food Network aired the linear television debut of ZOE BAKES' sneak peak, debuting the same episode, "Porch Party Pies." On Friday, July 30, 2021 ZOE BAKES made its official debut, as the Magnolia App and discovery+ released three new episodes, joining the sneak-peek episode, which had been available since February.

The sophomore season of ZOE BAKES debuted on Friday, May 13, 2022, as the Magnolia App released the first episode of the new season. In the season opener, "Breakfast Basics," Zoe prepares two breakfast favorites on a weekend at home with her poodles.

The third season of ZOE BAKES made its linear television debut on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 1pm ET/PT on Magnolia Network. In the season opener, "Victoria Sponge Cake," Zoe reveals that summer in Minnesota means one thing to her: strawberries. To celebrate, she's making a traditional English dessert comprised of fluffy sponge cake filled with strawberry jam, strawberry Chantilly cream, topped with edible flowers and more strawberries.
