Plot Synopsis

ZACK & QUACK is a 15-minute animated series that follows the adventures of a seven-year-old boy named Zack and his best friend, an impulsive young duck called Quack, as they travel through the pages of the most amazing pop-up book ever. Zack is an adventurous and kind-hearted boy, who hunts down the most amazing pop-ups and manipulates his paper world in ingenious ways. Plus, he has the ability to always see the bright side of any situation and find a solution to any obstacle he encounters. Zack's sidekick, Quack, is an uber-curious young duck fascinated by the pop-up world, never backing down from a challenge. They're joined by their friends: Kira, their eight-year-old neighbor, who loves paper and all the beautiful things she can do with it; Hop & Skip, a pair of acrobatic squirrels leaping through the trees in perfect harmony, who are always trying to playfully outdo one another; Belly Up, a loveable bullfrog, who is an endless reserve of silly facts and an expert at absolutely everything -- or at least he thinks he is; and Fluffy, a wide-eyed young hedgehog, who is the voice of caution and is extremely soft on the inside, despite his prickly exterior. Nick Jr. aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1pm ET/10am PT, showing back-to-back episodes, "Super Popper" and "Pop-a-Saurus Rex."
