Plot Synopsis

Ten contestants compete in elimination challenges as they vie for the chance to win their own series, which will be executive produced by Mark Burnett and is scheduled to appear on OWN in 2011. Hosts Nancy O'Dell and Carson Kressley guide the hopefuls through intense challenges designed to see if they have what it takes to have their own show. In each episode contestants are mentored -- and later judged -- by A-list hosts, like Dr. Phil, Suze Orman, and Gayle King, who teach them about booking interviews, researching story ideas, and successfully completing a pilot presentation. The 10 finalists are: Zach Anner (Austin, TX); Elizabeth Espinosa (Los Angeles, CA); Aunt Flora (Cincinnati, OH); Leigh Koechner (Valley Village, CA); Kristina Kuzmic-Crocco (Alhambra, CA); Ryan O'Connor (West Hollywood, CA); Dr. Tony Roach (Abilene, TX); Terey Summers (Phoenix, AZ); Alicia Taylor (Las Vegas, NV); and Eric Warren (Lawndale, CA).
