Plot Synopsis

YOU ARE HERE is a half-hour travel docuseries that follows Colman Domingo, as he takes intimate tours of the cities, places and hidden spots that hold special meaning in his life story with four episodes dedicated to Savannah, Philadelphia, New York City and Chicago. Throughout the series, Domingo revisits the locations pivotal to his growth as an artist and an individual, and the web of communities, people and found family who thrive there, and who lifted him up. He is joined by special guests including FEAR THE WALKING DEAD star Kim Dickens, Pulitzer Prize winning playwright James Ijames, five-time Tony Award winning director Susan Stroman, and Tony Award nominee Daniel Breaker, among others, as well as friends and family, local guides, and experts in each city. Episodes include:

"Savannah" (Monday, June 19, 2023 at 7pm ET/PT): Colman Domingo travels to Savannah, GA, to celebrate the end of FEAR THE WALKING DEAD with friend and co-star Kim Dickens, and confronts his complicated feelings about the South with a trip to Wormsloe Plantation.

"Philly" (Monday, June 19, 2023 at 7:30pm ET/PT): Colman Domingo visits his hometown of Philadelphia where he straps on his roller skates and grabs a cheese steak with old friends, chats with Pulitzer Prize winner James Ijames, and has an emotional family reunion.

"New York City" (Friday, June 30, 2023 at 7pm ET/PT): Colman Domingo returns to his Broadway roots in New York City and reunites with his PASSING STRANGE castmates for a look at how Black theater, and Colman's career, have evolved.

"Chicago" (Friday, June 30, 2023 at 7:30pm ET/PT): Colman Domingo arrives in Chicago ready to reflect on his time filming CANDYMAN in Cabrini-Green; after swinging through a circus class, it's time for deep-dish with renowned theater director Mary Zimmerman.
