Plot Synopsis
Without meeting the homeowners until the final reveal and based only on clues they learn about them during a five-minute tour of the inside of the house, landscape professionals Jake and Joel Moss have 48 hours to transform a home's overgrown landscape into a camera-ready yard. Whether they use reclaimed trusses from a field to shelter a bar area with a wine barrel wall and decomposed granite floors or create an impressive eight-foot high water feature that repurposes old roller-type conveyor belts from a fruit packing facility, the Brothers Moss and their crew must overcome their mistakes and arguments to complete each project before the homeowner returns. In the Season 2 premiere, which aired on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT on DIY, Jake and Joel turned a tiny, rundown yard of a classic craftsman into an expansive and relaxing space for the whole family. YARDCORE returned for its third season on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, as DIY Network aired back-to-back new episodes. In the Season 3 premiere, Jake and Joel created a one of a kind outdoor living area in an eclectic nod to the homeowner's love of art and style. Then, in the night's second premiere episode, the boys paid homage to the upscale Napa Valley with a metal sculpted water feature with oversized steel grape leaves and wine bottle spouts.

On Sunday, April 5, 2015 at 9am ET/PT, DIY Network premiered the fourth season of YARDCORE. In the season opener, "Stunning Sustainable Living Space," Jake and Joel take backyard gardening to a new level in this farm to table inspired backyard. A beefy pergola with a garden roof looks down on a massive outdoor kitchen complete with butcher-block countertops and a gourmet BBQ. Vertical planters made from recycled pallets explode with fresh herbs that provide the perfect compliment to this cooks' paradise. A custom dining table made from reclaimed wood looks out on a sea of raised industrial planter beds housing everything from insect repelling flowers to fresh fruits and vegetables to create a truly sustainable living space.
