Plot Synopsis
Based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan and set in early '90s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA is a one-hour drama series that chronicles the Clan's formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs (aka The RZA), who strives to unite a dozen young, black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories. On Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Hulu released the first three episodes of the series:
"Can It Be All So Simple": Staten Island, NY. The birth of Wu-Tang starts with a bang -- literally.
"Winter Warz": With Divine on the sideline, Dennis and Bobby step up to handle his responsibilities.
"All In Together Now": The death of a friend sends Dennis spiraling and divides Staten Island.
The remaining seven episodes stream weekly:

"Assassination Day" (Wednesday, October 23, 2020): A mysterious tape makes the rounds of NYC. As people try to figure out who this group is Bobby and Dennis try to figure out how to handle Attila.
WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA returned for its second season on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, as Hulu released the first three episodes of the 10-episode new season. The Clan is disillusioned with life in the projects, and Bobby knows that success in the music industry could be their ticket to better lives. But getting the Clan members to drop everything for music isn't easy. The resentment between Dennis, Sha, Power and Divine still runs deep, while the other Clan members struggle dealing with intercity life. This time around, Bobby is dedicated to authenticity and though he knows he can lead his crew through the challenges of the music business, the Clan's fractures may prove too much to overcome. Season 2 guest stars include La La Anthony, Jaqwan Kelly, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Ayanna Bria Bakari, Deshawn White, Andrew Manning, Jerry Clicquot, Curtiss Cook Jr., Jacob Ming Trent, Mandela Van Peebles and Erika Alexander. Mario Van Peebles also has directed several episodes this season. The first three episodes include:
"Little Ghetto Boys": A new beginning is soured when a single decision turns Bobby's life on its head.
"Brooklyn Zoo": Bobby goes all in on music while the rest of the Clan struggles with life in the projects.
"Hollow Bones": The Clan becomes disillusioned with their paths as Bobby prepares to steer them in a new direction.
The remaining seven episodes debuted weekly on Wednesdays through October 27:

The third and final season of WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA premiered on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, as Hulu released the first three episodes of the new season. Off the release of their debut album and their continued rise to fame, we follow the Wu-Tang Clan over the course of their five-year plan as they face and overcome different challenges. While each of the members go on separate journeys to figure out where they fit in the music world, RZA struggles to stay on top of things in order to fulfill the promise he made to his Wu brothers. As money, fame, ego, and business threaten to tear the group apart, they must find a way to come together and cement their legacy. The first three episodes include:
"I Can't Go To Sleep": Following six months in the wake of the season two finale, we find RZA and the Wu-Tang Clan have moved out of Staten Island to a mansion in the woods of New Jersey. Despite the massive success of their recently released album, they've only just begun.
"All I Need": As an album deadline nears, RZA must reconcile with his cousin Dirty by any means necessary. Dirty, however, takes refuge at Shurrie's apartment. The friendship between Ghostface and Raekwon strengthens as they discuss a potential collaboration.
"Dirty Dancin'": In our first allegorical movie of the season, we see Dirty take on the persona of "Dirt McGirt" in the theme of a 1970s blaxploitation film, as he finds inspiration for his first solo album, Return to the 36 Chambers.
The remaining seven episodes debuted weekly on Wednesdays through April 5:
"Daytona 500" (Wednesday, February 22, 2023): The Wu-Tang Clan goes on a tour of the East Coast as we follow what happens between the shows on the tour bus. The guys quickly discover that living on a bus together might not be all fun, as they're forced to deal with their problems face-to-face.
"A Better Tomorrow" (Wednesday, March 1, 2023): Following the completion of the tour, we see the paths of a few lesser known Wu-Tang members as they search for their individual voices amongst the crowd.
"Criminology" (Wednesday, March 8, 2023): In our second allegorical movie of the season, we examine Raekwon's inspiration behind his first solo album, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...through the lens of '90s gangster cinema.
"Shadowboxin'" (Wednesday, March 15, 2023): In order to secure a deal for their new label, Divine must deliver on the promises he made to music executive Tommy Mottola. But upon returning to Wu mansion, he learns that signing members and getting Dirty to feature on a song is easier said than done.
"Liquid Swords" (Wednesday, March 22, 2023): For the third allegorical movie of the season, we follow GZA, who takes on the persona of "The Genius" as he journeys through an alternate reality New York City to unite the people using the music from his debut solo album, Liquid Swords.
"After the Smoke is Clear" (Wednesday, March 29, 2023): In the penultimate episode of the series, Ghostface reflects on the sacrifices of his past while dealing with the bittersweet outcome of his artistic success. Meanwhile, RZA ventures to take a different approach for the Clan's next album.
"Triumph" (Wednesday, April 5, 2023): RZA pushes his musicianship to new heights as he creates Wu-Tang Forever with a studio orchestra, but the recording process strains the Clan. As tensions boil over during their biggest tour yet, RZA is concerned about Wu-Tang's future and le
