The Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees play in the 2024 World Series on FOX. The Yankees beat the Cleveland Guardians in the ALCS in five games, completing the gentleman's sweep with Juan Soto belting a three-run dinger in the 10th inning of Game 5. The Dodgers bested the upstart New York Mets in six games in the NLCS, relying on a bullpen game in the series clincher. The Dodgers and Yankees meet in the World Series for the 12th time -- and the first time since 1981.
Home field advantage goes to the Dodgers in this 2-3-2 format, meaning the first two games are in Los Angeles, followed by Games 3, 4, and 5 (if necessary) in the Bronx. If necessary, Games 6 and 7 are back in Los Angeles.
