Plot Synopsis

This one-hour series follows talented home cooks and professional chefs from across America, as they compete in the 2013 World Food Championships in Las Vegas. During this competition, chefs create a mouth-watering dish in their food category -- from BBQ to bacon and from burgers to desserts -- with the winner of each event advancing to a Final Table face-off between the category champions, who have a shot at winning a $50,000 prize. LA-based restaurant owner/chef Jeffrey Saad and Dallas-based chef Tiffany Derry host the series, while guest judges include Ben Vaughn, Whitney Miller, Ray 'Dr. BBQ' Lampe, Kari Karch, Simon Majumdar, Andrew Shotts, Sam Hazen, Roberto Trevino, 'Famous' Dave Anderson, and Emily Ellyn.
