Plot Synopsis
WONDERS OF MEXICO is a three-part documentary series that reveals Mexico's astonishing wildlife, landscape and culture in three distinct worlds: great mountain ranges, tropical forests and scorching deserts. The series travels south along Mexico's mountain spine, explores the tropical forests of the Maya, and journeys across the deserts of Northern Mexico to discover its amazing wildlife and culture. New episodes have their U.S. debut on Wednesdays, August 1, 8 & 15, 2018 at 9pm on PBS (check local listings).

On Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 9pm (check local listings), PBS premiered "Burning North," the finale of WONDERS OF MEXICO, which takes a journey across Northern Mexico reveals a desert rich in life. From prairie dogs fighting snakes, bats hunting scorpions and tiny owls living in giant cacti, its animals have found clever ways to survive against the odds.
