Plot Synopsis

THE WIVES DID IT takes viewers inside the homes of polygamist perpetrators, where one man has many wives, spurring sizzling bitter rivalries, simmering tensions and surging jealousies. Each 60-minute episode features one true-crime story interlaced with expert commentary from local authorities and experts, as well as first-person accounts from friends and families of the victims. The three-episode first season includes the stories of: Rulon Allred, part of a Mormon fundamentalist sect in Salt Lake City, who had with seven wives and 48 kids and was fatally shot at work in 1977; Jesse Cummings, who was married to two women -- Sherry and Juanita -- at the same time and who transformed into a twisted, sex-crazed sociopath, hell-bent on total control and obedience in his kingdom; and Dustin and his two wives -- Christina and Vicky -- who were involved in a love triangle, until the bloodied body of one of the women was found in Shubie Park.

On Friday, November 20, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered the season finale of THE WIVES DID IT. In the season ender, "Deadly Threesome," Dustin's two women cut him out of their bedroom fun, leading to bad blood. And when one of the ladies goes back to him, the scene is set for murder.
