Plot Synopsis

Based on the comic book series of the same name, WITCHBLADE centers on NYPD detective Sara Pezzini, who acquires supernatural powers when she discovers an ancient weapon powerful enough to battle Earth's darkest forces. For thousands of years, the Witchblade has existed -- a symbiotic gauntlet that becomes one with its wearer. Unable to free herself, Sara combats a world of evil far beyond crime on the street.
