Plot Synopsis

WINDY CITY REHAB: ALISON'S DREAM HOME is a three-episode docuseries that follows renovation expert Alison Victoria as she transforms her current Chicago office -- a 6,250-square foot warehouse built in 1930 -- into her very own "live-work" dream home. After securing approvals to rezone the space as residential, Alison will stretch her design and renovation skills like never before to create a spectacular retreat complete with a custom chef's kitchen, great room, primary suite, gym, theater and an all-season courtyard and spa. Episodes include:

"Designing the Dream" (Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 9pm): Alison's creative inspiration kicks into high gear as she walks through the massive space visualizing where to incorporate her favorite show-stopping design elements, including an expansive kitchen with marble countertops, eye-catching copper range hood and cabinetry that extends 12 feet up to the ceiling. In addition to installing an impressive home theater and a bar that holds 100 bottles of wine, she also will transform an old office storage space into an indoor courtyard complete with a "sp-ool" or spa/pool, skylights and handmade planter boxes. To make her new home truly one of a kind, Allison will integrate several stunning antiques, including 19th century hand-painted gold French doors and a mantel imported from Paris.

"Getting to the Dream Is a Nightmare " (Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 9pm): Alison is in the thick of her renovation battle and the stakes keep getting higher when her electrical bill doubles and pricing for her fireboxes comes in. She's used to taking risks, but this may be her riskiest project to date.

"The Grand Finale " (Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 9pm): After ten months of building, Alison is on a mission to finally have a place of her own in Chicago to call home. The push to the finish isn't easy, however, as she scrambles to find more money and pressures the contractors to complete the job.
