Plot Synopsis

WILL is a one-hour drama series that goes back in time to Elizabethan England to tell the wild, rowdy story of young William Shakespeare and his arrival onto the punk-rock theater scene that was 16th century London -- the seductive, violent world where his raw talent faced rioting audiences, religious fanatics and raucous side-shows. Along the way, Will convinces Richard Burbage that there's more to acting than the crowd's adoration, allowing the pair to eventually form the greatest actor-writer partnership the world has ever seen. Plus, Will and Richard's sister, Alice, develop a star-crossed passion, while Richard's father, James, is a carpenter with a vision to build the first theatre in London since Roman times: a 3,000-seat auditorium that became so famous it was simply called The Theatre. WILL premiered on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 9-11pm ET/PT, as TNT debuted back-to-back new episodes.

On Monday, September 4, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT, TNT premiered the season finale of WILL. In the season ender, "Once, Bright Angel," Will and the company are shocked by a terrible discovery, and they must risk everything in a life and death struggle for survival.
