Plot Synopsis

Lil' Rob, his dog Meaty, and the Wild Grinders undertake new challenges and experience adventures together as they shred The Lot and skate around their hometown of Sprawl City. No matter what the adventure -- whether they're filming stunts on homemade ramps or the local skate park -- the Wild Grinders have what it takes to find their way out of trouble and make it home in time for dinner. Lil' Rob is the leader of the Wild Grinders, his middle-school skate crew: Emo Crys, the most sensitive of the Wild Grinders, has the soul of an artist and a sensitive side he sometimes tries to hide from his fellow Grinders, but has a knack for dry sarcasm and humor; Jay Jay, the hippest and probably coolest kid in the Wild Grinders, is a germophobe and a gentleman with a tough-guy exterior who is also exceptionally smart and taking college level science courses; Goggles, the nerdy videographer of the group, comes to the rescue with successful, yet complicated, contraptions for Lil' Rob's schemes; Jack Knife, a bull-in-a-fine-china-shop simpleton, can always be counted on to say the thing that no one would think, but is a good and loyal friend with a big heart; and Spitball, the silent enforcer of the Wild Grinders, is an extreme sports street ninja who is a man of few words. While hanging with his crew, Lil' Rob is often challenged by Stubford Hucksterball, a spoiled little brat who gets all of his advanced technologies from his father's company, and Flipz, one of the only girl skaters in town who often competes with Lil' Rob in a game of S.K.A.T.E. But Lil' Rob goes nowhere without Meaty, his skateboarding bulldog (inspired by his own bulldog of the same name) that struggles with his out-of-control slobber and other bodily bulldog functions. At home, Lil' Rob lives with: Denise, his 15-year-old older sister, who is only concerned with her friends, her smartphone and tattling on her brother; Gene, his supportive father, who gives Lil' Rob a lot of freedom but reins him in when things get too crazy; and Patty, his unflappable but loving mother, who is always reminding Lil' Rob to behave, be careful and mind his manners. WILD GRINDERS returned for its second season on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 8:30pm ET on NickToons. In the Season 2 opener, Lil Rob zapped himself into Goggles' amped-up video game to help save Stubford, and they powered through levels of gnarly villains to escape the digital world.

After a four-month break, WILD GRINDERS returned with new episodes on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, as NickToons premiered two new episodes at 9pm and 10pm ET. In the first episode, "Midas Touch; Pre-Teen Mutated Karate Warrior," Lil Rob reminds Goggles of a kid named Shecky, the ultimate nerd who used to skate at the Lot, but now who's an ultra-cool skater with a bit of the Midas touch, because everything he does is awesome. Then, in the night's second episode, "Fists of Justice: The Beginning; Lil Rob & the Beanstalk," the Wild Grinders form a superhero team with Captain Grindstar to battle an alien invasion that threatens to destroy the planet.
