Plot Synopsis

Created by Kim Yong-wan and Park Kyung-su, THE WHIRLWIND is a 12-episode political drama series that focuses on a whirlwind clash between the prime minister, who aims to uproot the corrupt powers-that-be by assassinating the president, and the power-hungry deputy prime minister, who goes up against him. The series opens with Prime Minister Park Dong-ho, determined to turn the tables, attempting to assassinate the president. But Deputy Prime Minister Jeong Su-jin swiftly steps in to execute her own agenda. All 12 episodes of THE WHIRLWIND dropped on Friday, June 28, 2024 on Netflix.
