Plot Synopsis

In this weekly half-hour program, nationally-known pollster Scott Rasmussen draws upon independent, public-opinion, polling data about the latest political, economic, business and lifestyle issues. Rasmussen utilizes polling data from his electronic media company, Rasmussen Reports, which "uses an online survey tool to interview randomly selected participants from a demographically diverse panel." The premiere episode featured these guests: Democratic strategist Michael Murphy; William Kristol from "The Weekly Standard"; Mitchell Brooks, M.D., who explored why voters have reacted negatively to health care plans from both Republicans and Democrats; and former Naval officer Christopher Preble, who talked about ways to keep America safe while cutting the military budget.
