Plot Synopsis

WESTERN HEROES OF GOWER STREET is a half-hour documentary series that chronicles the lives of stars who performed in poverty row westerns that were produced in the 1930s on Gower Street, the site of many of the original movie studios in Hollywood. Each 30-minute episode focuses on a different person (or group), including Roy Rogers, Harry Carey, Three Mesquiteers, Gene Autry, Randolph Scott and John Wayne.
