Plot Synopsis

WEED COUNTRY goes inside the world of marijuana farmers in the Emerald Triangle, a remote wilderness area on the border of California and Oregon, where farmers grow their crops while battling law enforcement and neighbors. Farmers in the Emerald Triangle can earn millions in a single summer, but with that kind of reward comes huge risk. Growing marijuana here is a cutthroat business -- where only the best survive. Even though multiple states have legalized medical marijuana, in the eyes of the government, these growers are felons committing serious crimes and the idea of medical marijuana is a scam, which means weed farmers must do their best to stay out of jail. Heavily armed with weapons and helicopters for aerial surveillance, these hardline law enforcers will stop at nothing to take down the growers' operations and cut off their supply chains. Plus, as the pressure intensifies, turf wars and battles erupt between neighbors.
