Plot Synopsis

WAYNE BRADY: THE FAMILY REMIX is a one-hour reality series that follows the personal life of Wayne Brady and his blended family, revealing unexpected points of view and values that most people (including his own family) have a hard time understanding. People see their social media posts -- from vacations to dancing in TikToks -- but what's behind the joyful 15 seconds of fun? Their real life is not always as easy and as simple as it seems. Brady is still best friends with his ex-wife, soulmate and business partner, Mandie Taketa. Together, they co-parent their 21-year-old daughter, student and aspiring artist Maile Brady, as well as run their production company, A Wayne & Mandie Creative. Jason Fordham, Mandie's life partner since 2009, handles the family's cinematography and post-production, and Mandie and Jason have an almost 3-year-old son, Sundance-Isamu. Episodes include:

"All Eyez on Me" (Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10pm): Wayne and his ex-wife, Mandie, navigate the addition of someone new to their family, but not everyone is on board. Wayne questions his abilities to be a good father.

"NY State of Mind" (Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 10pm): The Core Four take a bite out of the Big Apple! Pursuing an opportunity on Broadway, Wayne feels the pressure of living authentically for the first time. Meanwhile, Wayne's daughter Maile makes new and old connections.

"Dear Mama" (Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10pm): For a blended family on Mother's Day, there is more than one reason to celebrate! Filled with gratitude, Wayne realizes some relationships are worth fighting for. Meanwhile, Maile realizes she must put her music video dreams on hold.

"Keep Ya Head Up" (Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10pm): Wayne must come to terms with the loss of his Grandma Val to move forward. With Mandie's help, Wayne visits his hometown of Orlando to find closure. After saying goodbye, Wayne decides to take the next step in owning his truth.

"Feeling Myself" (Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at 10pm): Lights, camera, action! The Core Four help Maile shoot her music video, but Wayne has difficulty taking a back seat. Meanwhile, Maile struggles to overcome her nerves...and Wayne's too!

"Ready or Not" (Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10pm): Wayne, his family and his friends do a tribute show for his late grandma's birthday and help him create a TikTok video to come out publicly. They're no stranger to the pressure of creating, but the stakes have never been higher. There's no turning back now.

"Run This Town" (Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10pm): Wayne has finally come out to the world and is free to be 100 percent himself -- but at what cost? Wayne worries about the backlash as he lives his new reality and attends his first public event since coming out as pansexual.
