Plot Synopsis
Inspired by "Discworld" characters created by Sir Terry Pratchett, THE WATCH is a one-hour fantasy series that follows an unlikely group of misfits, The City Watch, who are forced to find the guts to save the world, surprising even themselves in the process. The comedic yet thrilling series pits trolls, werewolves, wizards and other improbable heroes against an evil plot to resurrect a great dragon which would lead to the destruction of life as they know it. On Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, AMC+ released the first episode of THE WATCH, just three days before the show's official premiere on Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 8-10pm ET/PT on BBC America, which debuted back-to-back episodes.
