Plot Synopsis

WASTED SPACE is a one-hour reality series that follows designer Leyla Jaworski, as she and her team help people redesign the floor plan of their homes into spaces that work better for them. On Monday, June 7, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered "What's a Guinea Hen?," the series pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes scheduled at that time. In the pilot, Kirk and Courtney Gross have a desert farmhouse that looks more like a barn, so Leyla uses sensors to create a design plan that completely reshapes their out-of-date home. She'll have to push through client concerns and unexpected delays to deliver this family dream home.
