Plot Synopsis

Inspired by the manga of the same name, WARRIOR NUN is a live-action series that revolves around a 19-year-old woman, Ava, who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She discovers she now possesses superpowers as the chosen Halo-Bearer for a secret sect of demon-hunting nuns -- and powerful forces representing both heaven and hell want to find and control her. Confused but excited by her newfound abilities, Ava soon realizes she's in over her head, but her need for a helping hand may be a blessing in disguise. On Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire 10-episode first season of WARRIOR NUN.

Season 2 of WARRIOR NUN debuted on Thursday, November 10, 2022 on Netflix, as the streaming service released the entire eight-episode new season. Alongside new allies, Ava and the sisters of the Order band together and set out to take down a false prophet hell-bent on world domination. In the season opener, "Galatians 6:4-5," Ava and Beatrice jump into action when they meet an ally eager to take down a self-proclaimed prophet and his followers. Tragedy strikes at the convent.
