Plot Synopsis

In this spinoff of THE WALKING DEAD, Daryl Dixon washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan. In the series opener, "L'ame Perdue," Daryl's arrival to France sets off a violent chain of events that inadvertently puts a young boy at the heart of a growing religious movement in danger. Daryl agrees to help shepherd the boy to safety in exchange for help returning to America. THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON premiered on Sunday, September 10, 2023 on AMC, with a simulcast on BBC America, SundanceTV, IFC, and WE tv. A sneak peek of the episode dropped on AMC+ three days earlier on Thursday, September 7.
