Plot Synopsis

VIRGIN TERRITORY explores the real-life stories of 15 young adults from across America, as they navigate the complexities of their relationships, while deciding whether to have sex or remain a virgin. Some are hanging on to their v-card as long as possible; others are desperately hoping to lose it. Each 60-minute episode delves into the mindset of four young people, including: Lisa Youngerman, raised in a religious family with strong Christian values, who doesn't want to wait for her wedding night now that she's engaged to her fiance, Nick; Dominique Sullivan, from a household where many family members had kids out of wedlock, who wants to break the cycle in her family and remain a virgin until after she's married; Alec Melger; Luke Conger, a pure-living Christian and son of a pastor from a tiny town in Northern Minnesota, who struggles internally with his religious restrictions and raging hormones; Kyle Dansereau, who has been keeping his virginity a secret from his hard-partying friends for fear of losing their respect; Mikaela, who is on a mission to find a man and lose her virginity after being harassed by her friends as the lone virgin; and other young adults, like David Fisher, who make life-changing decisions about their virginity.

On Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 11pm ET/PT, MTV debuted the Season 1 finale of VIRGIN TERRITORY. In the season ender, Emily hopes therapy will help her overcome her fear of sex; Alec wants to define his relationship; Abby and her boyfriend reschedule; John asks Justine out again.
