Plot Synopsis

Featuring interviews with experts and critics, 'supercuts' of devices, and archival footage of films, VICE GUIDE TO FILM is a half-hour documentary series that takes an inside look at popular directors of world cinema, catering to the style of the filmmaker profiled in each episode. Each 30-minute episode features a different director, including: Werner Herzog, with James Franco, Harmony Korine and Errol Morris discussing the German filmmaker and his filmography; and other directors like Todd Haynes. VICELAND aired the U.S. premiere of this series on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 6:30pm ET/PT, a half-hour after it premiered in Canada.
