Based on John Preston's 2016 true-crime, non-fiction novel of the same name, A VERY ENGLISH SCANDAL tells the shocking true story of the first British politician to stand trial for conspiracy to murder. Jeremy Thorpe, the leader of the Liberal party, has a secret he's desperate to hide.
