Plot Synopsis

Filmed in front of a live studio audience at Atlanta's Uptown Comedy Corner, the longest-running African-American comedy club in the United States, and hosted by Joe Torry, UPTOWN COMIC features the next generation of breakout comedic stars. Executive producers described this show as "combining the best elements of DEF COMEDY JAM and IN LIVING COLOR." The premiere episode features Rodney Perry, Talent and Ronnie Jordan.
