Created and hosted by Prentice Penny, UPSCALE WITH PRENTICE PENNY is a half-hour lifestyle series that demystifies what it takes to live an upscale life, exploring a variety of topics ranging from food and wine to travel and fashion. From buying a better bottle of wine to getting a custom-made suit for less than some off-the-rack options, this series offers viewers ways to live a more elevated lifestyle by unlocking a world that often feels unattainable. In the series opener, "Romance," Prentice seeks to upscale his love life with a little help from New Edition's Johnny Gill, as he learns the importance of setting the mood through bed sheets, sleepwear, candles, and champagne.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT, truTV premiered the season finale of UPSCALE WITH PRENTICE PENNY. In the season ender, "Work Day," Prentice upscales his work day. Baristas show Prentice how to brew quality coffee at home, a cheese shop owner teaches him ways to improve a boring turkey sandwich, and an interior designer revamps Prentice's office space.
