Plot Synopsis

This one-hour reality series follows contractor Gary Stein and designer April 'Bama' Glover, as they spend five days helping new homeowners transform rundown houses into their dream homes. In each 60-minute episode of UNLIVABLE, Gary and Bama help a different homeowner, including: a hipster couple, Kurt and Emily, who want to transform their unlivable property, keeping its original period details; Ryan and Chelsea, a fun couple with a construction background, who want a home to raise their young son; and many more people who have small budgets -- and big dreams -- for their new house.
