Plot Synopsis

Created by Adam Malamut and Craig Malamut, UNIVERSAL BASIC GUYS is a half-hour animated comedy series that centers on brothers -- Mark and Hank Hoagies -- who, after losing their jobs at the hot dog factory to robots, are given $3,000 a month in a new basic income program. Now, they're using their free time and free money to find purpose in a world where they're no longer needed. UNIVERSAL BASIC GUYS premiered on Sunday, September 8, 2024 on FOX at 8pm ET/5pm PT, immediately following the FOX NFL Week 1 doubleheader.

Nearly four months before it debuted, UNIVERSAL BASIC GUYS was picked up for a second season.
