Plot Synopsis

UNITED SWEETS OF AMERICA is a half-hour series that travels across America in search of the best sugary snacks in the United States. From Memphis to the Carolinas, Texas and Kansas City, sugar lovers everywhere take culinary confections to a whole new level. Each 30-minute episode features treats, people and locations from five different destinations, including: killer Key lime pie in Key West; a tour of Ben & Jerry's; Cafe De Monde in New Orleans; thousands of cheesecakes getting shipped worldwide; tremendous truffles in Wisconsin; frozen custard so thick it's served upside down in St. Louis; Kane's Doughnuts in Massachusetts; beautiful brownies for the masses at Mari's in NYC; a Brooklyn Bridge Chocolate Cake at the River Cafe; the makers of the ice cream cone in Norfolk; and much more. GAC premiered back-to-back episodes of UNITED SWEETS OF AMERICA on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 6pm ET/PT, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time.
