Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode of UNFINISHED BUSINESS, a member of a deserving family reaches out to builder Tom Reber with a cry for help -- and he swoops in to guide them through the completion of their long abandoned spaces and get to the root of why the projects were left unfinished in the first place. On Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 11am-Noon ET/PT, HGTV premiered a sneak-peek episode of UNFINISHED BUSINESS. In this special episode, "Conned by the Contractor," a mother and daughter need home renovation coach Tom Reber's help when a contractor leaves their kitchen and bathroom in shambles. Together, they will finally complete the renovation after six years.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS had its official series debut on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the series opener, "Palmdale Procrastination," Tom sets out to uncover the issues that have been stalling a couple's bathroom and kitchen remodel for the past seven years. Through Tom's expert guidance, they learn that building for the future begins with finishing what they started.
