Plot Synopsis

"Underdog to Wonderdog" is a life-changing, pet makeover series for lucky, abandoned, stray dogs that have yet to be adopted. The show's Doggie Wonder Team snatches a dog from a shelter, rehabilitates, trains, primps, pampers and finally places that dog into a loving home that's been specifically designed and decorated to fit its personal doggie needs -- including a custom-designed dog house from a Canine Carpenter. All are given the help and the families they desperately need. In Season 2, the team works with dogs many consider "unadoptable" -- a young pit bull who lived her entire life without human contact; a herding dog whose behavior is so out of control that his frustrated owners sent him to a shelter; and an energetic, adorable puppy who is unable to move her back legs. The human stories are just as dramatic: a woman who hid her lifelong fear of dogs from her children, yet has agreed to adopt a dog into her family; a military couple who served in Iraq adopts one of the many neglected dogs they saw roaming the streets of Baghdad.
