Plot Synopsis

Under the mentorship of three PROJECT RUNWAY alumni, 15 up-and-coming designers compete in a series of elimination fashion challenges. Hosted by Tim Gunn, UNDER THE GUNN tests the designers skills as well as the mentors' ability to bring out the best in their designers as they guide them through the competition. In the series premiere, Mondo Guerra, Anya Ayoung-Chee and Nick Verreos measure the skill level of the contestants and duke it out to determine which four designers will land on their teams. In subsquent episodes, the contestants, with the guidance of their mentors, must impress these judges: designer Rachel Roy; celebrity stylist Jen Rade; and TV fashion correspondent and "Marie Claire" Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi.
