Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Salamina and Howza Mosese, THE ULTIMATUM: SOUTH AFRICA is a one-hour reality series that features six different couples, each on the verge of marriage. One partner in each couple issues an ultimatum. In just over eight weeks, they must get married, or get out. In the meantime, each choose new potential partners in a life-changing opportunity to get a glimpse of two different futures. At a cocktail party, the couples make critical choices, setting the stage for deeper connections and more emotional revelations. And then trial marriage forces the couples to consider whether to stay loyal to their original partner or test the waters with a new love interest. With the experiment nearing its end, the original partners are reunited, and the couples sift through their experiences and consider their futures together.
