Plot Synopsis

UFC PRELIMS presents live coverage of the Prelims (a.k.a. The Undercard) at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) events. In August 2011, UFC announced a seven-year agreement with FOX to broadcast UFC programming on FOX, FX and FUEL TV. As part of this deal, FX will air eight live UFC fights a year under the UFC ON FX banner, with UFC PRELIMS as the companion program earlier in the same evening on FUEL TV. The first event, also known as UFC on FX 1, was held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN and featured the following prelims: Jorge Rivera (18-9-0) vs. Eric Schafer (14-6-2); Kamal Shalorus (7-1-2) vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov (16-0-0); Charlie Brenneman (14-3-0) vs. Daniel Roberts (12-3-0); Fabricio Camoes (12-6-1) vs. Tommy Hayden (8-0-0); Daniel Pineda (15-7-0) vs. Pat Schilling (5-0-0); and Joseph Sandoval (6-1-0) vs. Nick Denis (10-2-0).
