Plot Synopsis

In each one-hour episode of TY BREAKER, craftsman and designer Ty Pennington helps desperate families decide whether to overhaul their current property or renovate a new one to better meet their needs. At the same time, one of Ty's experts co-hots -- either WINDY CITY REHAB's Alison Victoria, ONE OF A KIND's Grace Mitchell, or THE HIGH LOW PROJECT's Sabrina Soto -- try to entice the family to choose an alternative home that can be renovated to fulfill their wish list, while Ty does all he can to persuade the family to stay. In the end, will it be Ty or his HGTV co-star who holds sway? No matter which option the homeowner selects, Ty and his expert co-host will create the perfect dream home for the family.

In the series opener, "Roommates or Single Living," an Atlanta PhD grad purchased a townhome while in college, but her once perfect house no longer reflects her lifestyle. Ty Pennington and Alison Victoria join forces to help her decide between renovating or leaving her roommates for a home of her own.
