Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by Khloe Kardashian, TWISTED SISTERS is a one-hour docuseries that takes viewers inside the most shocking crimes ever committed by the unlikeliest of pairs. Each hour-long episode investigates the how and why this pair, bound by blood, has descended into darkness. Sometimes these sisters work together to commit a crime, but often the duo can turn against one another with the deadliest of outcomes. The series interviews immediate family members and close friends to learn what triggered the sisters' path towards a life of crime. Investigators and law enforcement anchor each story as they recount firsthand their unraveling of the case and try to make sense of the crimes committed. "I am so excited to be bringing you TWISTED SISTERS. As a self-proclaimed 'true-crime addict' there is no better way to tell these tales about the bonds that sisters possess and how they can go so terribly wrong," says Kardashian. TWISTED SISTERS premiered on Labor Day 2018 (Monday, September 3) at 10pm ET/PT as part of Investigation Discovery's inaugural Labor Day programming event, an "All DeLong Day" marathon.

The second season of TWISTED SISTERS premiered on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 10pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the season opener, "Go to Daddy," the black sheep of the family has spent a lifetime in the shadow of her prodigal younger sister. As the relationship with her mother takes a turn for the worse, things build to a boil that will leave one family member dead.

Season 3 of TWISTED SISTERS premiered on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT on Investigation Discovery. In the season opener, "A Song for Sarra," a family suffers one tragedy after another as as sister's murder and a mother's crusade for justice combine to drive another sister into a homicidal, or, some would say insane, rage.

On Monday, December 21, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT, Investigation Discovery premiered "The Patio Door," the season finale of TWISTED SISTERS. A bitter sibling rivalry takes a dark turn when one sister recruits a local gang to take part in a deadly game of pay back.
