Plot Synopsis

TWISTED goes inside the minds and lives of multiple murderers, showing how these people became serial killers, psychopaths and sometimes even cannibals and necrophiliacs. Each one-hour episode features a single spree killer, including: Jeffrey Dahmer; Myra Hindley; Fred West; The Washington Sniper; Harold Shipman. Investigation Discovery aired the U.S. premiere of the series on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 10pm ET. Season 5 premiered on Investigation Discovery on Monday, September 2, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT, with an episode featuring shock waves that ripped through paradise in 1999, as a series of crimes are committed by an unlikely killer who surfaced from the shadow of celebrity.

TWISTED returned for its sixth season on Investigation Discovery on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT. The season opener, "Sex Slave Killers," chronicles the love affair between Gerald and Charlene Gallego that resulted in a trail of merciless rapes and murders across three states from 1978-1980.
