Plot Synopsis

A tour stop in Kid's hometown of Philadelphia becomes a matter of life and death for one of the world's most famous comedians when the consequences of a lost evening with his wayward older brother Carlton threaten to destroy everything he's built, forcing him to answer the question of how far he'll go to protect what he has. The story opens with The Kid launching a comedy tour in his hometown, but a reunion with his brother and an afterparty lead to a more sobering reality. During a full day of obligations and outbursts, Kid leaves Carlton with a daunting task. After an ill-timed photo shoot, the brothers find a solution. Carlton leverages a video to stave off Ari's brothers, who want money and answers. Kid spreads his generosity, but a misdeed comes back to haunt him. The entire seven-episode series dropped on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 on Netflix.
