Plot Synopsis

This reality series follows general manager Joe Bechtold and the workers at the Midway Travel Plaza, which is one of America's most unique independently owned truck stops. Mid-way between Kansas City and St. Louis, the Plaza is a stopping place for truckers and tourists alike, as they take a break to enjoy the truck stop's dozen businesses, including a hotel, tattoo parlor, boot shop, haunted house, and fireworks store. Other workers include assistant manager Ben Muzzey, motel manager Julie Klusmeyer and her husband/head of maintenance Tim Klusmeyer. Season 2 featured the same location and people, but the series had a new title, TRUCK STOP USA.
