Each January or February since 2013, Travel Channel has aired a one-hour television special that complements the cable channel's annual online sweepstakes, which features a $100,000 dream adventure giveaway packed with thrilling, surprising and exclusive experiences. In the first year, airing as TRIP OF A LIFETIME, host Samantha Brown presented highlights of an ultimate two-week, $100,000 Adriatic itinerary, including Croatia and Italy, with Bert Kreischer, Adam Richman, and Anthony Melchiorri on location. For the second year of the sweepstakes, Travel Channel changed the name of this annual special to THE TRIP: 2014, as hosts Sam Brown, Adam Richman, Anthony Melchiorri and Don Wildman offered a sneak peek into what Spain & Morocco had to offer. On January 26, 2015 at 8pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered THE TRIP: 2015, as hosts Sam Brown, Bert Kreischer, Anthony Melchiorri and Don Wildman took viewers on unforgettable escapes through four islands of Hawaii: Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Lanai. The online sweepstakes runs from January 2, 2015 through March 24, 2015 at 11:59pm ET, with a grand prize worth more than $100,000. In 2016, Travel Channel is giving away a $100,000 island-hopping Caribbean vacation, which includes the most exclusive experiences one can find on the Caribbean islands of Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, Guadeloupe and Saint Lucia. Beginning Monday, January 4, fans can submit an entry at Travelchannel.com/thetrip to win this year's prize itinerary curated by Travel Channel's experts and hosts Samantha Brown, Josh Gates, Jack Maxwell, Anthony Melchiorri and Andrew Zimmern. The fourth annual sweepstakes runs through March 25 at 5pm ET. During the sweepstakes period, THE TRIP: 2016 premiered on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 8pm ET/PT, with the five hosts showcasing the distinct cultures, cuisines and all the luxuries that make these Caribbean locales a fantasy tropical paradise. THE TRIP: 2017 premiered on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 8pm ET/PT on Travel Channel. This year, hosts Samantha Brown and Jack Maxwell show off an incredible trip of a lifetime to South Florida and the island of Jamaica that viewers can win. Adventure by day, extravagance by night, this $100,000 dream adventure giveaway pairs amazing local activities, excursions and hidden gems with the most luxurious accommodations, meals and pampering in Miami and Palm Beach, FL and Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This year's trip features a collection of exclusive and world-class activities that only Travel Channel can create. Viewers will get a rush as they try the turbo-charged water sport, jet packing, and cruise on a private yacht in Miami; sail high on a kiteboard outing and get a tour of the prestigious Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach; go river tubing and visit the spa at the Secrets Wild Orchid resort in Montego Bay; and get brave with a cliff jump at the Blue Hole and indulge in a private dinner on the beach in Ocho Rios.

On Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered THE TRIP: 2018, a new one-hour special hosted by Kellee Edwards and Jack Maxwell. This year's grand-prize package, valued at $100K, features a 20-night getaway in luxurious hotels across St. Lucia and Antigua. Fans can submit enter twice daily through March 30, 2018 at 5pm ET at Travelchannel.com/thetrip
